Removing HM from the who output

How about if HM/Mortal separation was removed from the "who" output? At times we have 5-8 HM to 1-2 mortal on and this can be very intimidating to the truly new players coming to check the mud out. I would keep the setenv perks and an extra chat line for HMs so there is still something people can look forward to, just who output would be altered.

I'm generally against the idea that levels should gain you any renown what-so-ever in the CMS system we use. Nothing of any note has to be done by you in order to attain this "fame", and that makes it foolish in my mind. For this reason I would be completely in support of the High-Mortal section of the who list being removed. All the (meager) bonuses for being over level-whatever-high-mortal-is should undoubtedly stay, because it is still kinda neat to be able to show that you're high level.

Oh, how 'who' has changed. Remember this?: [Help for who (Player Command)] help: mortal command
form: who [-o:<order> <race1> <race2>...]
Lists all interactive users who belong to the races supplied, or all users if no races are supplied.
<order> may be a,d,k,l,p,q, or t. These mean: a - sort by name b - sort by birth date d - sort by deaths k - sort by kills l - sort by level p - sort by playing time (default) q - sort by quests t - sort by login time
Yeah well anyway, should be able to put something in front of a player's name to generate a warning. For example: H Ganelon or (I don't know the ascii version of a skull and crossbones) X Kyri Anyway, you get the idea. I don't really see anything preceding character names anymore, at one point it was popular, from earmuffs to any sort of nonsensical thing you could think of, Possessed By Satan comes to mind. So mainstream everyone into who, put a H or HM in front of their name, or don't, it's prolly a great idea to lump all mortals together.

Why restrict HM at all, why not make them more like serial killers, they could be anyone. All this discussion was for, as far as I could tell, was integrating HM and mortals so the who didn't look so lopsided. People that hit 45 would still be HM. If you restrict it to the top whatever, aren't you still splitting the who?
